2009 SUMMER GIGS DONE AND DUSTED......

June 5th was the last night of the Volvo Ocean Race's Galway stopover. The weather was perfect and the Stunning took to the stage outdoors on the city's docks in front of about 35,000 people. Fortunately there were cameras rolling for what turned out to be a fantastic night. The Gods of Weather seemed to be on the Stunnings side this year: the weather was perfect for their gigs at the Junction Festival in Clonmel, and at the Bulmers live night on Leopardstown, only to rain straight away after both gigs. The summer gigs finished up with a homecoming gig for Derek and Cormac (the Donegal men) at the Earagail Arts Festival in Letterkenny. A very special thank you from the band to all who came and supported us. As the song says "we'll meet again, dont know where, dont know when". All the best -Joe, Steve, Jimmy, Derek and Cormac.
